An efficient algorithm to compute the X-ray transform

چکیده

We propose a new algorithm to compute the X-ray transform of an image represented by unit (pixel/voxel) basis functions. The fundamental task is equivalently calculating intersection lengths ray with associated units. For given ray, we derive sufficient and necessary condition for non-vanishing intersectability. By this condition, can distinguish units that produce valid intersections ray. Only those units, calculate obtained analytic formula. proposed adapted various two-dimensional (2D)/three-dimensional (3D) scanning geometries, its several issues are also discussed, including intrinsic ambiguity, flexibility, computational cost parallelization. method fast easy implement, more complete flexible than existing alternatives respect different geometries Finally, validate correctness algorithm.

The X-ray Transform and its Application in Nano Crystallography

In this article a review on the definition of the X- ray transform and some ofits applications in Nano crystallography is presented. We shall show that the X- raytransform is a special case of the Radon transform on homogeneous spaces when thetopological group E(n)- the Euclidean group - acts on ℝ2 transitively. First someproperties of the Radon transform are investigated then the relationship ...

An Algorithm to Compute

The following problem is addressed: given square matrices A and B, compute the smallest such that A + E and B + F have a common eigenvalue for some E, F with max(‖E‖2, ‖F‖2) ≤ . An algorithm to compute this quantity to any prescribed accuracy is presented, assuming that eigenvalues can be computed exactly.

An Algorithm to Compute the Complexity of a Static Production Planning (RESEARCH NOTE)

Complexity is one of the most important issues of any production planning. The increase in complexity of production planning can cause inconsistency between a production plan and an actual outcome. The complexity generally can be divided in two categories, the static complexity and the dynamic complexity, which can be computed using the ant ropy formula. The formula considers the probability of...
